Anneloes is a communications and cultural strategist with fifteen years of cross-sector experience across Europe and Southeast Asia, working at the intersection of arts, culture, sustainability and DEI.
For her, art is not extra - it belongs at the core of a healthy economy and society. Businesses, cities and cultural organizations work with her to build initiatives, programs and campaigns into platforms with clear strategic outcomes.
As co-founder of Open Studios Penang, Malaysia's largest open studios festival, she leads communications and organization, bringing together artists, studios and audiences across the region.
Beyond Open Studios Penang, she works with companies, government institutions and communities to build collaborations with sustained value.
Her strength lies in moving comfortably between boardrooms, galleries and community spaces. That is where her work takes shape.
Anneloes holds a Master's in Communications Science and Popular Culture from the University of Amsterdam, with a major in Media Studies from the University of Copenhagen.
Based in Penang, she works with cities, cultural organizations, foundations and purpose-driven brands.
