Rebecca is a Malaysian artist and painter working mainly with paint and paper. A weaver and textile print designer by training. Rebecca paints dreamscapes and visual memories that give a sense of place, all influenced by a love for flora, fauna, and cultural heritage. These images fill her thoughts after journeys and travel. Colour, pattern and textures feature in all her nature inspired paintings. Before Covid hit, in December 2019, Rebecca has started using her art to highlight issues that impact on women & children, and the impact of man on the environment & biodiversity - with her solo exhibition ‘Forbidden Fruit’ Sex Women & Botany. It is a subject that Rebecca is passionate about and continues to work through to develop further. 

Rebecca works between Penang, Malaysia, and Piemonte, Italy.
